Content Analysis

          The story ‘The Race’ by an Indian writer , Nisha Punjabi has a charming power. Tarun, a school boy is the central character of the story. He was a mediocre student, was always blamed by his parents for his low grades and tardy nature. He was called a black sheep or a good for nothing fellow but he had an intense wish to be a fast runner. He gave vent to his better feelings by running. On one such occasion, he accidentally met a veteran athlete and coach, Ram Narayan, who identified his talent in running and agreed to train him if he won the race on Children’s day. But unfortunately, during the race Tarun slipped many times and could not win. Still everyone praised him for his strong determination to complete the race despite many obstacles.

Teacher leads the pupil to the lesson by introducing Sachin Tendulkar as he is an under achiever in study but is a great player in cricket. Teacher gives another example who is back in studies.

 The teacher reads the first two paragraphs of the story with correct stress and  with proper pronunciation.

Song of a Dream is a beautiful lyric written by Sarojini Naidu. its a philosophical mood about a dream in which the poet attains perfect peace and serenity. In her dream she interacts with the spirit of love, peace and truth. This poem mirrors patriotism gaiety and serenity
