Content Analysis

Song of a Dream is a beautiful lyric written by Sarojini Naidu. its a philosophical mood about a dream in which the poet attains perfect peace and serenity. In her dream she interacts with the spirit of love, peace and truth. This poem mirrors patriotism gaiety and serenity

Informal Interaction      Teacher communicates informally with the learners to create a good rapport, then teacher creates interest and readiness in the learners by showing photos and the details of Sarojini Naidu then lead the learners to the poem.   Entry Activity   To create mental readiness among students teacher shows a small video about the Nightingale of india (Sarojini Naidu) then teacher ask questions about dream and nature, Have you been to a forest?

 

Link Talk   Teacher leads the pupil to the lesson by explaining about nature and dreams then teacher explained about the dreams of Sarojini Naidu her dream of life, vision, and her motherland. Then teacher introduces the title of the poem Song a Dream by Sarojini Naidu then teacher slowly guides the learners to the poem by giving a gist of the lesson     Model Reading   The teacher reads the poem with proper pronunciation, rhythm and expression       Process Reading   Let the learners read the poem and find out the meaning of difficult words from the glossary.
